Curtain-Sider Truck Body
DCI Fleet’s curtain side truck body protects cargo like a van body but is easy to load with a forklift like a flatbed. Each is custom-built to your specifications and our in-house engineers will work with you and provide a CAD drawing of your truck body so you can be sure it fits your specific needs. Available in lengths from 16’ to 26’ the curtain-sider body can be installed onto any make, model cab-chassis.
Designed for Quick Loading and Unloading
Our curtain-sider reduces costs by cutting loading and off-load time. The body is supported by a heavy-duty 3/16” steel galvanized frame that’s fully welded and gusseted with a front one-piece fiberglass reinforced plywood (FRP) bulkhead. Double swing out or rollup doors offer access from the rear using a retractable ramp, lift gate, or step-bumper. Your ceiling options are translucent or standard with interior LED lighting. Optional pole and pocket restraints and bulkheads can be added for customized cargo control. It all rides on a tough laminated oak floor and steel cross-members with asphalt-based undercoating for protection.
We can paint and letter your curtain-side truck body in any style or color you like and provide a curtain with graphics to match.
Curtains on either side of the body are fully retractable and can open from the front and rear using quick-release buckles. They are made from strong and durable double-weave polyester and reinforced at stress points. Available in a wide range of colors, your curtain can be imprinted with a simple logo through full-color, photo-style graphics to promote your company. A weather-proof “pelmet” along the roofline protects cargo and curtain hardware from the elements, and the curtain glides smoothly on ball-bearing rollers mounted inside a one-piece aluminum track. Bolt-on front and rear ratcheting tensioners make it easy to tighten the curtain which is lockable for security.
